DROP-IN

Our Drop-In Centre is a safe space that welcomes all women identified people.

We are currently open Wednesdays & Fridays from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm (closed 12:00-1:00 for lunch) and Thursdays from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm.

Safety Protocols
Please stay home if you are sick.  To keep everyone safe, everyone entering the building will be screened for COVID-19 before being allowed to enter.  Masks are mandatory and must be worn in the building at all times.  We will provide one if you do not have one.  Hand sanitizer must also be used upon entry.

Access to the building will be limited to 2 people at a time for a maximum of 15 minutes, and we ask that social distancing of 6 ft is maintained at all times while visiting at the Centre.

Staff will be sanitizing all shared spaces on a regular basis.

We provide basic needs support that includes:
• Take out Coffee/Snacks
• Emergency Food, Diapers, and Hygiene Products
• Outdoor Winter Clothing as available
• Smudging and traditional medicines
• Crisis Support
• Resources, Referrals, & Advocacy

Food Hamper Program
Food hampers are available on a first come, first served basis on Tuesdays from 11am-12pm.  Social distancing must be observed and we recommend that masks are worn while waiting in line.  Please dress for the weather as there is no access to the building on hamper days – hampers are handed out at the front door.

Men’s Hours
Men in North Point Douglas continue to be under-served, and because many of the women coming to the Centre have partners, sons, brothers and fathers, we offer some of our services to men in the community at limited times.  This has come at the request of the women in the community who are advocating for supports for the healing of our men.

Men are currently able to access door service during all of our operating hours.
