All persons who support NPDWC's activities, apply for membership and are approved by a majority decision of the board are qualified to be and shall be made members of NPDWC.

Mission Statement: The North Point Douglas Women’s Centre walks with women to strengthen their voice, make change and engage in our community.


Vision Statement: A safe, healthy, vibrant community for women and families.


Activities & Resources offered by NPDWC:
  • Opportunity to network with other women
  • Computer and internet access
  • Meeting basic needs like laundry facilities, community telephone, newspapers, refreshments, donations
  • Advocacy, referrals, resume writing
  • Access to information on housing, employment, training, mediation
  • Open to all women in the community
  • Family activities and outings during school breaks & holidays
  • Programs including neighbourhood safety, youth outreach, and health
  • Support and counseling​
